Alphadanga Upazila Awami League of Faridpur held a protest march and rally with the vow to bring Awami League President and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina back to the country. This protest march was taken out from the Dakbanglo-adjacent upazila Awami League office of Alfadanga upazila around 4:30 pm today. The procession comes to the Alfadanga Chowrasta area at the end of the main main road circuit of the municipal headquarters. There was a protest rally against forcing Sheikh Hasina to leave the country.
Eight days after Sheikh Hasina left the country, Awami League held a program for the first time in Faridpur district. Six unions and one municipality of Alfadanga upazila, representatives of Awami League and thousands of workers-supporters participated in the protest rally. From three o’clock they started gathering at the Upazila Awami League office.

At that time, the protestors kept chanting slogans such as ‘Sheikh Hasina is not afraid, she has not left the streets’, ‘If anything happens to Sheikh Hasina, fire will burn from house to house’, ‘The tool of the seventy-one, let it roar again’. At the end of the protest march, upazila Awami League president Vir Muktijoddha SM Akram Hossain presided over and Svechsevak League president Enayet Hossain moderated the upazila Awami League general secretary Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Alim, vice president Tara Mia, municipal Awami League president Saifur Rahman, Boalmari Upazila Awami League president spoke. Organizing Secretary Syed Russell Reza, Alfadanga Upazila Krishak League convener Delwar Hossain, Jubo League convener Hasmat Hossain Talukder, joint convener Kamrul Islam etc.
Condemning the attacks on the homes of Awami League leaders and minorities across the country, the speakers vowed to bring Sheikh Hasina back to the country quickly. “We will not return home until we can bring Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina back to the soil of Bangladesh,” Abdul Alim Souza, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League, recited this oath to all present.
