Others sworn in as advisers are former Bangladesh Bank governor Salehuddin Ahmed, Dhaka University law professor Asif Nazrul, executive director of human rights organization Odhikar Adilur Rahman Khan, former caretaker government adviser AF Hasan Arif, former foreign secretary Tauhid Hossain, environmental lawyer Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Former Election Commissioner M Sakhawat Hossain, women’s rights activist Farida Akhtar, Islamic thinker AFM Khalid Hasan, former managing director of Grameen Bank Noor Jahan Begum and expert on electoral system Sharmin Murshid.

Former ambassador Supradeep Chakma, doctor Bidhan Ranjan Roy and retired Navy officer Farooq-e-Azam could not take the oath as they were out of Dhaka.
