Russia-US relations unlikely to improve under Biden: Russian ambassador

Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to Washington, commented that it is pointless to expect the development of relations between Russia and the United States under President Joe Biden. He said this in an interview with Channel One, Russian news agency Tass reported.
Anatoly Antonov said that the development of Russia-US relations in the near future seems impossible. The current administration’s (US) focus is now on how to survive in the Oval Office of the White House. They will not review their Russia policy. Because, it will appear that their policy will fail.
The ambassador said he had hoped that a US senator or congressman would visit the Russian embassy to offer condolences over the terrorist attack at the Moscow concert hall, but nothing of the sort happened.
Anatoly Antonov said that the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent an official there, and that official is not related to the determination of US foreign policy.
