According to the report, in 2022, Zelensky’s annual income increased to 12 million 24 million Ukrainian hryvnias or 3 million 6 thousand dollars. The previous year his total income was 3.7 million hryvnias. As a result, Zelensky’s income more than tripled in one year.

On February 24, 2022, the Russian army launched an all-out attack on Ukraine. The country has been at war since then. During the war (in 2022), President Zelensky made additional income by selling several government bonds and charging higher rents on his own properties.

According to the official website of the President of Ukraine, most of the income of Zelenskiy and his family members comes from government salaries, interest from banks and rents from their own properties.

The website also states that President Zelensky and his family members earned 7.45 million Ukrainian hryvnias by selling government bonds in 2022. However, during this time President Zelensky’s real estate or vehicles did not increase significantly.

Zelensky called on public officials to disclose their assets. He made this call as part of the initiative to increase transparency and curb corruption. Zelensky has taken this initiative in an effort to meet the strict conditions of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union (EU).
