A person died after being hit by a train  in Jessore’s Abhaynagar). On Friday night, he died after being hit by the Kapotaksh Express train from Rajshahi to Khulna on the rail line of Maha Shamshan area of ​​Nawapara village of the upazila.

Jessore Railay Police Outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Manitosh Biswas confirmed the news. He said that a case of wrongful death has been filed in Khulna Railay Police Station in this regard.

The name of the deceased is Shahid Molya (48). He is the son of Isharat Molya of Kharia village of Kalia upazila of Narail. He worked as a cook on MV Nayan Shovan-1.

According to an eyewitness, the ralway police said that around eight o’clock last night, Shahid Molya was sitting on the ralway track in Mahashamshan area of ​​Nawapara village and talking on the mobile phone. At that time, he died on the spot when he was hit by the Kapotaksh Express train leaving from Rajshahi to Khulna.
