Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the hottest topic in the tech world right now. The UN General Assembly is working to develop an international guideline on its risks and benefits. The first global resolution or resolution related to artificial intelligence was unanimously passed by the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, March 21. The United States raised the proposal. The proposal was co-sponsored by 123 other countries.
193 UN member states voted yes in favor of the resolution on artificial intelligence. US Vice President Kamala Harris said in a statement that the proposal will pave the way for the world of AI. Here, each country will work together to deliver on commitments and address risks.

The proposal is being considered as a major step in a series of initiatives by various countries around the world on AI. Among the various fears, AI may cause various frauds or other harms to the democratic process.
The impact of this technology is so great that various states and major tech companies are working to create regulations on AI. Legislation is also underway to reduce social or financial risks due to AI.
The development and use of Ai may pose risks, which may harm the protection, promotion and development of human rights and fundamental freedoms. And so almost all the countries of the world are worried about the development of AI. In November last year, several countries including the United States and the United Kingdom signed the first international agreement to keep Ai safe. It can be said that Europe is well ahead of the US when it comes to creating AI laws. European Union lawmakers this month signed a provisional agreement to oversee AI technology. The European Union is also working on rules on artificial intelligence. US President Joe Biden’s administration, on the other hand, is trying to legislate to regulate AI.
